This 3-storey 19th Century warehouse on Barrow Street has been refurbished and converted to office accommodation.  An emphasis was placed on maintaining as much of the original building fabric as possible.  New interventions were kept to a minimum and designed to complement the existing.  Masonry walls, steel structure and timber floors have been restored.  Steel windows have been repaired where possible and new windows designed to match.  The roof has been related and a 25m long roof-light introduced. Ancillary accommodation and services are confined within a simple core rising at one end of the plan, leaving unobstructed areas for offices.
