As part of Open House 2014 the Coach House at 4 St James Terrace, Ranelagh, refurbished and extended by de Blacam and Meagher Architects in 2011 will be open for tours.

07.14 – International Brick Awards
The house at 22 Dalkey Avenue has been shortlisted for the 2014 Brick Awards in three different categories:
Best Housing (1-5 Units)
Best Craftsmanship Award
Best International Project
The Brick Awards are an international event organised by the Brick Development Association to highlight the innovative use of brick in contemporary design and construction.
The judges will visit the house in the coming weeks and the awards ceremony will take place in London in November 2014.

07.14 – Sucessful Design Awards, Shanghai
de Blacam and Meagher have been nominated in the International “Successful Design Awards”, taking place in Shanghai. Projects for which the practice have been nominated are C.I.T Campus, House by the Sea, Country House Ibiza, and Digicel Downtown, Kingston Jamaica.
The nomination reflects the strength of the practices work and recognition internationally. The awards will be announced September 2014.
06.14 – Primera Mencion ‘Casa de los Naranjos’
‘Casa de los Naranjos’
de Blacam and Meagher have been awarded Primera Mencion in the inaugural international DOM3 prize for a villa design in Marbella.
The competition attracted over 100 international entries.

The gardens at Bessborough Parade are to be included in the 3rd Annual Rathmines Initiative Garden Trail on Saturday 8th June The Gardens are open to visitors from 2pm to 6pm.

de Blacam and Meagher’s T H R E E H O U S E S O N T H R E E I S L A N D S features in the Time Space Existence Exhibition opening on June 5th at Palazzo Bembo, Venice. The exhibition forms part of the 14th International Venice Architecture Biennale.
The exhibition runs until November 22nd 2014.

de Blacam and Meagher have been invited to exhibit at the 14th International Venice Architecture Biennale – Time Space Existence.
Curated by the Global Art Affairs Foundation, the exhibition opens on June 7th 2014 and runs until November 22nd 2014.
